Need a Smaller Heavyweight?

While you probably know Wallace makes heavy duty cranes, you may not realize that we also manufacture light duty cranes. The Wallace Mighty Mite line was developed in response to customer requests for lighter duty models. These smaller cranes share most of the same features of their larger counterparts: durability, flexibility, fast set-up and easy adjustments.

Our Mighty Mite line offers over 20 models with capacities of either 500 or 1,000 lbs. Adjustable heights range from 5 to 12 feet. I-beams listed at 8 to 12 feet can be customized to fit your workspace. In the photo above, the crane is shown with footpads but can easily be fitted with casters to provide portability. And like all Wallace Cranes you can move the Mighty Mite with a full load.

The Mighty Mite is an excellent cost-effective solution to custom built workstation cranes. Mighty Mites are portable and do not need to be built into the building’s structure. With a variety of sizes, these cranes are ideal for small spaces. Even if you are just renting space, a Mighty-Mite crane can easily provide lifting capability without a substantial capital investment for an overhead crane and you take it with you!

This is another installment of our series of application stories that highlight serious lifting options. Please note that while no lifting slings are shown in the image, for any real lifting you should be sure the crane, hoist and slings are sized for the expected load.
