Rearranging Your Plant
is Child's Play?

Wallace Portable Cranes can bring your heavy lifting problems down to size. As you try to do more with less, you can use a Wallace Crane to help rearrange your workflows to optimize product paths. When it comes time to put your plans in action, our versatile, portable cranes can make difficult moves look like child’s play.

Customers rely on us for precision, high-capacity lifts like moving or removing injection molding dies that weigh tons but have assembly clearances measured in mils. Our cranes can easily move and place your equipment. For example, the 5 Ton Tri-Adjustable crane shown above could lift this 526 lb. solid pine toy house. To lift the dimensional equivalent in solid steel (about 12,000 lbs.) we would recommend an 8-Ton crane. This crane would have the same basic design, but bigger structural members to handle the load.

The crane shown above is one of our “physically smaller” high-capacity cranes. We make 5 Ton cranes in several different styles with overall heights up to nearly 24 feet and spans to 35 feet. Our extensive lines of cranes have capacities that range from 1/4 to 15 tons. Even our standard lines can be customized to fit with reduced heights and spans to travel under ducts or around other equipment.

This is another installment of our series of application stories that highlight serious lifting options. Please note that while no lifting slings are shown in the image, for any real lifting you should be sure the crane, hoist, and slings are sized for the expected load. To maintain the proprietary nature of our technology, not all fasteners are shown. The intent is to show the general design and typical applications.
