How Do You Move the Motor
That Moves Your World?
Running a "lean"
maintenance department can carry a heavy cost, especially when you
don’t have a Wallace
Portable Crane. While you can’t plan your next
emergency, you can
plan what fixes the problem. Wallace Cranes have
the capacity to quickly and easily move the busted motors that have
shut down production. The problem is not just that the motor is gone.
If one part of your process stops, everything stops. So now you
literally rely on one motor to move your world. A Wallace Crane can
replace that one
motor.
Wallace Portable cranes like the Steel
Tri-Adjustable shown above, easily roll through your plant. Our
mobile cranes allow a single piece of lift equipment to take the motor
from the loading dock to where it’s needed. Because nothing else is
easy, before you replace the motor, you have to drop the coupling, lift
the gear box, and lift out the old motor. For all these steps you can
rely on a Wallace crane to provide the capacity and precision lifting.
Tri-Adjustable cranes have the height to lift as needed and the ability
to fit in tight spaces.
Wallace makes hundreds of cranes with heights from under 6 ft. to over
24 ft. Our capacities run from 500 to 30,000 lbs. What these numbers mean
is that just about
anything will
fit under one of our
proven Wallace Cranes. And because it fits,
that “anything” can be repaired,
replaced, refurbished, moved, removed, or dealt
with. Choose reliability,
choose Wallace.
This is another
installment of our series of application stories that highlight serious
lifting options. Please note that while no lifting slings are shown in
the image, for any real lifting you should be sure the crane, hoist,
and slings are sized for the expected load. To maintain the proprietary
nature of our technology, not all fasteners are shown. The intent is to
show the general design and typical applications.
