Move a Mouse,

Move a Motor?

Ordering replacement components on the web is easy. Just move your mouse and click away. It takes no more effort to order a 1/2 HP motor than a 20 or a 200 HP model. You don't even have to flip pages. Its all virtual!

The fantasy ends when the parts land on your loading dock. One mouse click can weigh 1,000 lbs. in the real world. A big motor needs a small crane.

When you place a web order, you do not automatically schedule full internal freight movement. You need a Wallace Portable Crane! Our cranes help move the parts from the loading dock. Better still, Wallace Cranes allow you to quickly swap out the damaged equipment. Our versatile material handling solutions can easily straddle most equipment, allowing the motor to be precisely positioned and then dropped in. Its almost as easy as clicking a mouse.

This is the thirteenth installment of a series of application stories designed to evoke the lighter side of serious lifting options. Please note that while no lifting slings are shown in the cartoon, for any real lifting you should be sure the hoist and crane are sized for the expected load.
