Mounted Jib Cranes
B.
E. Wallace offers base plate mounted Jib Cranes.
These units are engineered and designed for floor
mounting. Units rotate 360 degrees and are available
in a variety of capacities, spans, and heights,
as shown in the table below.
Booms
conform to AISC and ASTM standards and have removable
end stops for rapid trolley installation.
Design
features include:
- Heavy
reinforcing plates to balance stress.
- Lower
roller assembly mounted in a heavy duty machined
weldment.
- Field
adjustable tension bolts ensure even pressure on
the rollers where they contact the mast.
- Roller
bearings are mounted to the frame through removable
steel axles with grease fittings.
- Top
bearing is a tapered roller radial thrust bearing.

American Standard beams are normally used on Jib Cranes.
However, wide flange beams may be substituted due to current
steel price volatility and availability. These beams may
also require special trolleys (consult factory if necessary). |
