The Tri-Adjustable Gantry Crane is our most versatile unit. You can adjust Height, Span, and Width. Identical units have been used for applications as diverse as waste-water treatment, particle physics, and helicopter maintenance. These cranes can also be used in a cantilever configuration, making sure the proper counterweights have been applied. These cranes can be made narrow and short to fit through doorways. With the pinned construction, they can even be quickly disassembled and moved on an Accessory cart within a worksite.

Adjustable Span and Cantilever Capability
Adjustable span gives more advantages - bracing may be inboard or outboard or cantilever configuration. Cantilever overhang is limited to 25% of the I-beam length. Cantilever capacity is limited to 60% of the rated load. (NOTE: A counterweight may be required, consult factory before using crane in a cantilever configuration.) No matter which configuration you use, our push trolleys with hand or electric hoists will travel the entire length of the I-beam.

Height can be raised to go over equipment or material in its path; lowered to go under low ceilings, obstructions or through doors. Legs can be set at different heights where flooring or terrain is uneven. It's ideal for loading from truck dock to floor or from ground level to mezzanine.

Adjustable Tread
Adjust caster tread to roll through narrow aisles or doorways, without costly disassembly, or extend to full width for maximum stability. Safety cable attached inside caster frame tubes prevents overspreading when adjusting.

Durable Construction
Only high quality, heavy gauge steel and aluminum tubing are used. I-beams are American standard. Every steel gantry is dip painted with red gloss industrial quality paint to protect both inner and outer tubing walls. All bolts, pins and hardware are plated to prevent corrosion.

Tri-Adjustable Gantries are offered in all aluminum alloy construction for lightweight and maximum portability. Combination models have aluminum alloy I-beams with steel A-frames for light weight and lower cost. All steel construction gives you the greatest capacity at lowest cost.

Self Aligning I-Beam
The exclusive Wallace I-Beam support system will align with off-center loads to avoid crane and trolley distortion. Best of all, the Wallace support system slides enabling you to adjust leg spacing, and set up for cantilever configurations. More details are found here.

Height Adjusting Bolts
Main legs on all models are equipped with spring loaded bolts permitting gantry height adjustment at 6 inch intervals. They can be locked out until the desired height is reached, then unlocked to engage automatically.

Casters
Four position swivel lock casters offer special advantages. Locked at 90° to each other, they position the crane more firmly than a brake.

Lock "lead" casters and unlock trailing casters to easily move and steer the crane. Standard on all cranes (except for the 15 ton, which is equipped with four 10" diameter steel V-grooved wheels), are durable composition wheels. Ideal for all floors, they are non-marking and non-sparking. All round tube gantries are equipped with four 6" (or 8" depending on load capacity) diameter wheels and the square tube Tri-Adjustables have eight 8" or 10" diameter dual wheels. Alternate steel V-grooved casters are available for all cranes for use on angle iron track.

Completely Portable Tri-Adjustable
Stressproof steel pins with locking rings provide quick assembly and disassembly. Some aluminum cranes may be hand carried. Or, get the optional "Kart Kit" which transforms our disassembled crane into a hand cart, for easy storage and transportation.
