Wallace in-house CAD
capability allows customization of even our "Fixed Height" cranes. The
images
below show how the main leg and the caster frame have been altered to
meet a given project height. On our adjustable cranes we can often
reduce the number holes to limit the height and resize critical
components to meet height or doorway restrictions.
The half frame and 2 foot I-Beam (below left)
indicates a preliminary design of a Custom Hippolift Fixed height crane. This crane was
constructed to fit an area with a low ceiling. The center
image shows the standard components in red and custom in gray. The
image far right shows derived dimensions from the assembly model in the
first panel.
